Final Fantasy 14 is an online game that allows you to play with individuals worldwide. Square Enix developed it. The game is well-known for its captivating stories, expansive universe, and enjoyable gameplay.
Whether you have played similar games before or not, starting FFXIV may be enjoyable and exciting. This guide will help you get through the game’s early stages and begin your journey in Eorzea.
Stick To The Story
There are numerous side tasks in the opening 30 minutes of Final Fantasy 14. Each new region includes people who require assistance in retrieving things or battling monsters. Focus on the main story quests because they provide enough experience to level up without having to complete every side quest.
Keep Up With Your Job
Your job questline is an exception to the rule of tale quests. After five levels you will receive new job quests. These quests provide experience and unlock new career skills. At level 30 you can unlock the advanced version of your job. Do not forget to equip the appropriate Soul Crystal before switching to the advanced job.
Visit The Hall Of The Novice
The Hall of the Novice is ideal for learning your combat role. It includes tutorials for damage, tanking, and healing classes. You will master fundamental skill rotations and proper posture. This will help you in difficult battles even if you play alone.
Leveling
Early in Final Fantasy XIV, you will level up swiftly but you will occasionally need to reach a particular level to proceed in the Main Scenario Quests. After the daily reset, play Duty Roulette to gain more experience.
It can be found in the Duty Finder and will reward you with Gil and bonus XP upon completion. Completing daily tasks is highly recommended as you go through the game. This will allow you to keep up with your MSQ without worrying about being under-leveled.
Important Things To Know
Flying:
You cannot fly in ARR zones until you have reached Level 50 and completed the tale. After that, flying will be unlocked automatically. For Heavensward and beyond, you must unlock “Aetheryte Currents” in each new location.
First Mount:
You can receive your first mountain early by completing the Level 20 quest “My Little Chocobo” in your starting city. Completing it unlocks a Chocobo that you can name and use in battles.
Retainers:
Use retainers to control your inventory. Locate an NPC in a major city to obtain one. Retainers can store objects, travel on adventures, and be sold on the Market Board.
